Our Training
As trainers, we have over 10 years of teaching experience in the world of permanent makeup and are both fully qualified teachers with 15 years of teaching experience. We are also level 4 qualified permanent make-up technicians. As a master trainer, Jane often teaches in different countries offering advanced training as well as demonstrating and speaking in international conferences.
Both Jane and Rachel believe that continued personal development is an essential part of teaching, learning new skills and techniques that will be added to the syllabus and passed directly to students.
One of the most essential aspects of the courses on offer is the support and aftercare available to students. This doesn’t end at the conclusion of the course, support groups and check-ins from trainers are in place indefinitely.
Jane and Rachel focus on ethical and lawful practice and teach to the highest standards both technically and theoretically. The beginner's permanent makeup course is one of the longest and most thorough available as are the individual discipline courses.
At the conclusion of basic training, students will have the ability to offer various techniques and have the knowledge and skills to accommodate all clients.
There is also provision for the continuous professional development of the student after the course has finished such as masterclasses and technique workshops.
Open College Network Accredited (OCN)
OCN Credit 4 Learning has accredited all courses provided by JH Micropigmentation Ltd and has mapped them to their respective level on the qualifications and credit framework (QCF), which has now replaced the old national qualification framework (NQF).
The levels awarded to JH Micropigmentation courses are shown on the website which details the courses offered.
JH Micropigmentation has worked within the standards set to present a course of the highest standard. They have been thoroughly checked and accredited at level four in micropigmentation
By attending these courses you will have a qualification accredited by the governing body OCN which is recognised by insurance companies and local councils
Training Questions?
Is this equivalent to an NVQ?
This is not an NVQ Level 4 but a numbering system set up by the government.
Can I practice without Level 4?
Yes, you can in principle however we would not recommend it. You would have to find a council and insurance company that has not yet implemented the new, more stringent guidelines.
Who can stop me from practicing?
Local authority councils and insurance companies, as they already have these measures in place in some parts of the UK.
